The following information about our Privacy Policy reflects the commitment of the association OBSERVATORIO DEL IMPACT SOCIAL Y ETICO DE LA INTELLIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL (hereinafter, OdiseIA), as data controller, to maintain and guarantee secure relationships through the protection of personal data, guaranteeing the right to privacy of each of the users of our services.

Treatments and purposes of the data collected

Any personal data that you provide us when visiting our web portal will be treated in accordance with data protection regulations and will only be collected, processed and used for lawful, legitimate and informed purposes. For this reason, we detail all the purposes for which OdiseIA uses personal data.

The name and surname of the applicant will be requested, as well as their ID, email, details about their employment and the way in which they are related to the artificial intelligence sector. Likewise, a brief motivation will be required to belong to the entity, in addition to sending the resume or Linkedin professional profile link.

The name of the company and its website will be requested, as well as its CIF, number of employees and contact person information (name, email and telephone number).  An explanation will also be requested about the way in which it is related to the artificial intelligence sector and a brief motivation for belonging to the entity.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

ODISEIA is present on different social networks, with the purpose of reporting on its activities. Sometimes we may process user data for the following purposes: process requests and queries submitted to ODISEIA, report on activities and events organized by ODISEIA, report on services offered by ODISEIA, propose collaborations, Interact through official profiles. The processing of these personal data is justified when the USER has specifically consented to the use of their personal data for one or more specific purposes, or by legitimate interest of ODISEIA. Once the USER becomes a follower or joins the ODISEIA social network, they can post comments,
links, images, photographs or any other type of multimedia content supported by the network. In all cases, the USER must be the owner of the published content, have the copyright and intellectual property rights, or have the consent of affected third parties. The publication of any content on the social network that may be considered offensive or that infringes intellectual or industrial property rights, image rights or the law is expressly prohibited. In such cases, ODISEIA reserves the right to immediately remove the content without prior notice and may request the permanent blocking of the USER. ODISEIA is not responsible for the content freely published by a USER. Each USER is primarily responsible for their privacy and must be aware that their publications will be accessible by other users.

Security Measures

In accordance with the provisions of current regulations on the protection of personal data, OdiseIA is complying with all the provisions of the GDPR and LOPDGDD regulations for the processing of personal data under its responsibility, and manifestly with the principles described in article 5 of the GDPR, by which they are processed in a lawful, fair and transparent manner in relation to the interested party and adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.
